Ellen Becker was a 1976 graduate of Washington High School in Two Rivers, WI, where she competed in track and basketball and was named MVP her senior year in basketball.
Upon graduation, she enrolled in the Respiratory Therapy program at MATC and graduated in May of 1978 with a remarkable 4.0 grade point average. While at MATC, Ellen was a two-year letter winner in basketball and was named to the All-State WJCAA Team, WJCAA and WTCC All-Tournament Team, and selected as the team's MVP in her second season. Ellen was a member of the basketball team whose two-year record was 33-1. Ellen was an excellent defensive player.
Ellen was employed at UW Hospital after graduation and in 1985 she became a supervisor in the Respiratory Therapy area. She has also been a faculty member of the Pediatric Pulmonary Center database.
Ellen has been active in city and community affairs, and she enjoys playing and watching sports. She received her masters degree from UW-Madison.
