Charles Voigt, a 1968 graduate of Kiel High School, was a cross country and basketball participant at Madison Tech. In 1970, he was selected to the WTCC Conference All-Tournament team and chosen the team's Most Valuable Player. He averaged 11 points per game and 10 rebounds. Chuck was in the Liberal Studies program and following two years at Madison Tech, transferred to UW-Platteville. At Plateville, Voigt received two varsity letters in basketball and served as a student assistant coach during his senior year.

Chuck was employed at the J.A. Jones Company of Appleton and he and his wife, Polly, have two children, Stacey and Michael.
