Back-to-School Checklist

As you get ready to start your classes, check out these resources and tips to ensure stress-free learning. 

Counseling

Counseling services are free and available to all students-athletes. If we determine that your counseling needs require resources or competencies beyond what we can provide, we will assist you with a referral to an appropriate and affordable community-based mental health provider.

Employment with Madison College Athletics & Recreation

Interested in working in the Athletics office, in the Fitness Center, or at sporting events? Madison College Athletics & Recreation Departments are always hiring to fill numerous roles every year.

Financial Aid & Scholarships

There are many sources for funding to help pay for college including federal, state, and private funds. In addition to loans, there are a lots of different scholarships available for Madison College students that can help offset college costs and don't have to be repaid.

Health Clinic

All Truax, Downtown, Commercial Avenue, and South Madison students taking a degree credit course have access to health services with a valid OneCard. Madison College's agreement with Group Health Cooperative  covers several services/procedures (PDF) for Madison College Students.

Housing

Madison College does not have dorms or residence halls. But we know that finding a safe, affordable and comfortable place to live is important. To help you, Madison College has partnered with Rent College Pads to provide a curated list of housing options where student-athletes can browse the listings, post for or find roommates or carpools, and list your place for sublet.  

Library

  The Madison College library offers tremendous amounts of resources that are available online and in person.
