Our Mission
Consistent with Madison College’s Mission and Values, ONEPACK is a framework to build a welcoming and supportive athletic department by creating safe spaces for constructive dialogs, educational programming, and community engagement. Madison College’s student-athletes, coaches, and staff come from a variety of backgrounds and have diverse perspectives and passionate viewpoints on a range of issues. ONEPACK builds mutual understanding throughout the College by collaborating with Madison Colleges staff who are experts in diversity, equity, inclusion, gender empowerment, multiculturalism, and mental health. Madison College Athletics’ strives to graduate complete student-athletes who loved their time at Madison College and remain actively connected to the College as alumni. Through ONEPACK, Madison College Athletics is committed to fostering an inclusive, anti-bigotry environment where every member of our community has a voice, and feels respected, valued, and safe.
Our Objectives
- Provide and create programming and educational opportunities for student/athletes, coaches, staff, and the greater Madison College Community
- Support and uplift student-athlete ONEPACK groups
- Provide ONEPACK opportunities for each team to help build unity & embrace social justice initiatives
- Work in partnership with other DEI professionals on campus and beyond, including Madison College's Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement, the Retention Initiatives and Student Engagement (RISE), Student Life, and Intercultural Exchange
