2015 Academic All-Americans

Five WolfPack athletes named NJCAA Academic All-American

Five Madison College student-athletes have been honored by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) as Academic All-Americans for the 2014-15 school year.

The two spring sports (baseball and softball) both claimed two Academic All-Americans as Brandon Gibis and Dominick Golubiewski received the honor for the baseball team, and Savannah Hauglid and Bridget Jost were recognized for the softball team. Gibis and Jost were named the Top Male and Female Scholar Athletes by the Madison College athletic department during the 2015 Madison College Athletic Banquet.

Rounding out the honorees was Stephanie Myszkowski of the Madison College women's soccer team. Myszkowski was not only a member of the inaugural women's soccer team; she becomes the program's first NJCAA Academic All-American. All five student-athletes received "exemplary" status, by achieving a 3.6 to 3.79 grade point average or better.

Congratulations to all of the well deserving student-athletes for their achievements on and off of the field.
