The WOLFIES: Madison College Athletics celebrates student-athlete, team achievements

Pleasant, Weik named Madison College District Board Sportspeople of the Year

The WOLFIES were held Thursday night inside Mitby Theater as the Madison College Athletic Department's 59th Annual Athletic Awards Banquet. The Wolfie Awards, in its third year of existence, celebrated current student-athletes, coaches, and staff for their athletic and academic achievements.

The special awards presented at this year's banquet are as follows:

Mirella Zielke - Women's Soccer - Edgerton, WI (Homeschooled)

James Duncan - Baseball - Sussex, WI (Arrowhead H.S.)


Academic Honors

Madison College student-athletes achieved success in the classroom last spring and fall as 88 student-athletes received academic honors, and five teams were recognized as NJCAA Team Academic Award winners: baseball, women's basketball, women's soccer, softball, and women's volleyball.
