Doug Redsten Memorial Service Award
This award is named in honor of Doug Redsten, the former golf coach, basketball coach, and Athletic Director at Madison College. Each year the Athletic Department recognizes a staff person who has demonstrated outstanding loyalty, support, dedication and service to Madison College Athletics as did the late Doug Redsten for so many years.
District Board Sportsperson of the Year
The Madison College District Board annually presents an award to student-athletes who have best exhibited the ideals of scholarship, leadership, and sportsmanship while also demonstrating the ability to handle stressful situations with poise and confidence.
Williams Family Dedication & Service Award
It is presented on behalf of a family that has cumulatively given over 80 years of dedication and support to Madison College Athletics. Often times, the role that is overlooked is one that is behind-the-scenes. It is a role that often makes more visible roles (coaching, competing, staging the event, etc.) possible. This award is intended to recognize those individuals who work hard behind-the-scenes.
