Madison College men's basketball coach
Jason Roscoe was one of 19 coaches nationwide recognized for earning
National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Professional Development Series certification. The honor comes as Roscoe prepares to lead the WolfPack for a third season since being hired before the 2022-23 season.
According to the official NABC press release, the series is "a continuing education program for basketball coaches from all levels of the sport...to help coaches develop and improve competencies both on and off the court". The certifications were earned by attending at least five sessions at any of the four NABC Championship Basketball Clinics, or by attending a minimum of clinics at the annual NABC convention.
The latest recognition comes one year after Roscoe was selected to participate and coach in the
NCAA College Basketball Academy.
Roscoe and the WolfPack will start the
2024-25 season on November 2 with a home game against McHenry County College.
