Home court advantage is something that both the Madison College men's and women's basketball teams hope to take full advantage of this week as they prepare to begin postseason play in the
2018 NJCAA Region IV Division III Tournament. The action will begin for each squad with a home quarterfinal, and both will do so against the College of DuPage. The WolfPack women will host the Chaparrals on Tuesday, February 20 at 7:00 p.m., with the WolfPack men to follow 24 hours later on Wednesday, February 21 inside
H. Douglas Redsten Gymnasium. The winners will advance to this weekend's eight-team tournament, which will also be hosted by Madison College on Saturday, February 24 and Sunday, February 25.
The
Madison College women (19-8, 11-3) are the tournament's #2 seed and will square off with the 7th-seeded College of DuPage (3-21, 0-14) in the quarterfinals. The WolfPack defeated the Chaparrals,
78-40, in their penultimate game of the regular season for their tenth straight win against COD. That streak also includes a
75-26 drubbing in Madison on January 20. Madison College boasts a 22-13 all-time record in the head-to-head series, which includes just one prior postseason contest, a 68-54 DuPage win that ended the 2010-11 season.

The
Madison College men (17-10, 7-7) have earned the #3 seed and will open with a home quarterfinal against the 6th-seed College of DuPage (4-20, 2-12). The game will come seven days after the WolfPack defeated the Chaparrals,
72-56, on the road to sweep the regular season series after earning a
66-56 decision in Madison on January 20. The 'Pack has won five straight and are 12-10 all-time against COD. Wednesday's game will mark the third consecutive year in which the two teams have met in the postseason, with DuPage winning a 64-62 quarterfinal in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, in 2016 and Madison College advancing with a 75-62 home quarterfinal victory in 2017.
