The NJCAA Region 4 has announced its all-region team for the 2024-25 men's basketball season, and Madison College's
JP Pleasant was named to the first team. Pleasant, the 55th all-region recipient in team history and the fifth under head coach
Jason Roscoe, received enough votes to be one of eight players from the region to receive a NJCAA All-American nomination.
Pleasant, a Beaumont, Texas, native, averaged 15.2 points and 6.6 rebounds to help guide the WolfPack to a 19-10 record, an improvement of ten wins from the year prior. The 6'5" sophomore forward racked up 22 games with ten or more points and five double-doubles. He was also third on the team with ten blocked shots and fourth with 41 assists.
Pleasant established a career-high 33 points in a win over Morton College. His 44.2% shooting percentage from three-point range ranks as the ninth-best single-season mark in program history. Pleasant pulled down 349 rebounds in 2024-25, marking the 15th most in a season at Madison College.
