JOPLIN, MISSO. - Madison College qualified for the
2024 NJCAA Division II Golf Championships as a team with a runner-up finish at the Region 4 Tournament; however, due to weather and some contentious decisions by the tournament organizers, the WolfPack finished four days of competitive golf as three individuals instead of as a team. Following a 36-hole cut that was put into place early in the second round, the Pack missed the team cut, leaving sophomores
Brady Callmer and
Brent Schmiesing, and freshman
Peter Gustafson, to compete as individuals for the final two rounds. That trio concluded the 72-hole event on Friday at
Twin Hills Golf & Country Club.
