Fellow second years Braeden Skifton and Brent Schmiesing were right behind Callmer with a pair of five-over 77s to tie for eighth overall. Skifton's card featured 12 pars, one birdie, and an even-par 36 on the front nine for the Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, product as he matched his career-best round. Schmiesing, who was the Region 4 Division III medalist at PrairieView last season, was also even-par on the inward nine en route to 11 pars and one birdie.
