In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the passing of Title IX, the Madison College Athletic Department is excited to announce a special Title IX Night to coincide with the men's and women's basketball doubleheader on January 24 against in-state rival Milwaukee Area Technical College inside H. Douglas Redsten Gymnasium. The event is one of several upcoming promotional nights on the remaining 2022-23 basketball schedule, including Faculty/Staff Appreciation Night, Black History Month, and Sophomore Day.

Title IX 50th Anniversary Celebration (January 24 vs. Milwaukee Area Technical College | Men @ 5:30 p.m. | Women @ 7:30 p.m.)

In recognition of the Title IX anniversary, and to further celebrate the accomplishments of female coaches and student-athletes at Madison College, the department has planned several events during the January 24 hoops doubleheader.

• Headlining the event will be the unveiling of a video highlighting the forward movement of women's athletics at Madison College and beyond. The video, which includes several Madison College Hall of Famers, will be shown at halftime of the women's game.
• Hall of Famers JoAnn Walker, a trailblazer for women's sports at Madison College and throughout Wisconsin, and Ellen Becker will be recognized as an honorary captain. 
• Additional recognition at halftime of the women's game of former female coaches and student-athletes. Those planning to attend should RSVP to athleticcommunications@madisoncollege.edu.
• Fans can peruse a historical display of Madison College Athletics yearbooks, uniforms, trophies, and more in the concourse outside Redsten Gym.
• Current WolfPack student-athletes are encouraged to attend and wear their Title IX T-shirts. They will also receive a free popcorn with their OneCard.
• Additional WolfPack Title IX T-shirt giveaways for fans in attendance

Faculty/Staff Appreciation Night (January 26 vs. Gogebic Community College | Women @ 5:30 p.m. | Men @ 7:30 p.m.)

All Madison College faculty and staff are encouraged to attend and will receive a free popcorn with their OneCard.

Black History Month (All February games, including home games on February 2, 7, & 11)

All members of the men's and women's basketball teams will be wearing special Black History Month T-shirts during warmups and on the sidelines to pay tribute to generations of African Americans and their struggles and accomplishments.

Sophomore Day (February 11 vs. South Suburban College | Women @ 1:00 p.m. | Men at 3:00 p.m.)

The Madison College Athletic Department and basketball coaches will recognize the commitments, sacrifices, and accomplishments of the Sophomore Class of 2023, which includes four members of the women's team and six members of the men's team. Ceremonies will take place prior to tip off of their respective games.
