The Madison College Athletics Department enjoyed another highly successful year academically in 2025-26. The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) announced that 31 Madison College student-athletes were named NJCAA Academic Student-Athlete Award winners, while three Esports student-athletes earned NJCAAE Academic Awards.

By earning a 3.60 or better grade point average over two semesters, 31 student-athletes found their names on the NJCAA's Academic Student-Athlete Award list. Eight Madison College varsity sports teams are represented on the list, led by WolfPack softball with nine award winners. They were followed by baseball with six, women's soccer and women's volleyball with five, Esports with three, men's soccer and women's basketball with two, and men's basketball and men's golf with one. Madison College Athletics saw seven student-athletes pull off perfect 4.00 GPA's for the year. Another seven student-athletes received second team accolades and 17 more earned third team distinctions. 

The NJCAA Academic Teams of the Year awards are to teams that produce a cumulative 3.00 GPA or better, and in 2025-26, the WolfPack saw four teams accomplish the combined academic effort. The baseball team narrowly yielded the top GPA of any Madison College team with a 3.37, finishing ahead of women's volleyball with a 3.35. Softball (3.27) and women's soccer (3.14) were also recognized.

Madison College also featured 102 Region 4 Academic All-Region Award winners over the course of the last two semesters. Those student-athletes were able to achieve a 3.00 or better grade point average with a minimum of 12 credits passed in a semester. This marks the second academic year in a row with more than 100 student-athletes earning Academic All-Region 4. (Region 4 Academic All-Region: Fall 2025 | Spring 2026)

As the second year student-athletes with the highest individual cumulative grade point averages, Lukas Dogru (men's soccer) and Lauryn Etienne (softball) were named the Madison College Top Female and Male Scholar Athletes, respectively. They were each honored at the The Wolfie Awards in April.

College Sports Communicators (CSC) named 13 WolfPack sophomore student-athletes as Academic All-District in 2025-26 based on earning a cumulative grade point average of 3.60 or higher and meeting participation requirements specific to their sport. Matthew Haggart of Madison College golf was the lone recipient of a CSC Academic All-America award, receiving second team accolades for his work in the classroom and on the course.
