JOLIET, ILL. - Seventeen days after the Madison College men's soccer team sent Joliet Junior College home with a
double-overtime loss, the Wolves returned the favor and gave the WolfPack a dose of their own medicine with a 3-2 overtime win of their own on Friday. For the third time in their last four matches, and for the second straight outing, Madison College has found themselves on the losing end against a North Central Community College Conference opponent, dropping the defending N4C champs to .500 in league play and 2.5 games back of the league leader with four matches remaining.
On the road, Madison College wasted little time sending a early message with a goal in the game's fourth minute. Freshman

Ricardo Ramos pass for the first goal in the collegiate career of the Madison, Wisconsin, native. Ramos, a sophomore and former Beloit Memorial athlete, registered his first assist of the season. The lead lasted less than six minutes as the Wolves tallied their first goal against the WolfPack defense and goalkeeper
Blake Dehn.

NJCAA Division III Poll, regained a one-goal advantage. Team scoring leader
Toby Andrews found the back of the net off an
Ian Nowell assist. The reigning N4C MVP now has seven goals, while Nowell, a native of Elkhorn, Wisconsin, also counted his first career point.
The 2-1 lead stretched into the second half until Joliet Junior College (2-4, 2-3) once again pulled even, this time in the 53'. Despite six shots and two corner kicks, the 'Pack was unable to net the game-winner in regulation, and the match went to an extra session. The sudden victory overtime last less than two minutes before the Wolves' Kyle Sparks did score the game-winner to earn a split of the regular season series and snap Madison College's three-game win streak in head-to-head matchups. Joliet leads the all-time series by a 6-12-2 margin.
Overall, the WolfPack attempted four more shots than JJC, however, the home team owned a 5-3 edge in shots on goal. Andrews was credited with two of the SOGs, while Perez had the other. Dehn notched two saves opposite the three goals allowed.
