WolfPack eyeing revenge in Top-5 tilt tonight

The last time the Madison College women's volleyball team lost a match it was a three-set sweep at the hands of North Central Community College Conference rival Harper College on September 1. Since then, the WolfPack have reeled off 14 straight match wins and reached a #1 national ranking. They will put that streak on the line tonight [Tuesday, September 25] when the #5 Hawks come to Madison College.

During their recent win streak, the WolfPack have won 42 out of 50 sets played, improving their season match record to 17-4 overall and 5-1 in NAC play, creating a three-way tie atop the league standings. Harper College, along with Rock Valley College, is also 5-1 in the conference and boasts a 17-8 mark overall.

The WolfPack is led by former Reedsburg standout TeAnn Harms, whose averaging 2.47 kills per set. Two other members of the WolfPark [Allie Lehner, 2.10; Andrea Bauer, 2.05) are also over two kills a set. Setter Brianne Brueggen drives the offense with 7.77 assists per set this season, while the defense is combining for 2.24 blocks and 15.21 digs per set.

The match begins at 6:00 p.m. at H. Douglas Redsten Gym on the Madison College Truax campus. Madison College students, faculty, and staff receive free admission with their Madison College OneCard. Regular admission prices are $3 for adults ages 18 & up, $1 for students ages 11-17, and children ages 10 & under get in free.
