Volleyball Improves to 4-1 in Conference Play

Box Score The #2 nationally ranked Madison College Women's Volleyball team moved to 4-1 in North Central Community College Conference (N4C) play with a 3-0 thrashing of host, Joliet Junior College, on Thursday in Joliet, IL. The WolfPack led by Andrea Bauer's five kills and Brianne Brueggen's 16 assists cruised to a three-game victory, 25-10, 25-8, 25-18.

Andrea Bauer led the WolfPack in kills with five while teammates Allie Lehner and TeAnn Harms each had four. Stevie Winer led the team with four aces and six digs while teammate Taylor Genthe had a team high three blocks. Kaitlin Mooney also contributed with six digs while setter, Brianne Brueggen had a game-high 16 assists. Madison College had a .145 kill percentage and allowed the host Wolves just 36 points in the rout.

The WolfPack are currently in second place in conference play with a 4-1 record, just behind Rock Valley College, as the team prepares to play in the Harper College Invitational in Palatine, IL on Friday and Saturday.
