NJCAA Region IV Sectional Tournament hosted at Madison College

POSTED 5-10-15 - 2:55 PM - Madison College Baseball won the 2015 NJCAA Region IV Sectional Tournament in convincing fashion with a 11-2 win over College of Lake County in today's championship game. The WolfPack advance to the NJCAA Region IV Tournament in Schaumburg, IL next weekend (May 15-17).

POSTED 5-9-15 - 4:20 PM - Madison College's nine run fourth inning downs Prairie State College, 13-1. Madison College will face College of Lake County in the NJCAA Region IV Sectional championship game tomorrow at noon.

POSTED 5-9-15 - 2:20 PM - Madison College's Derek Heffel pitched a complete game, nine-inning shutout with 14 strikeouts to give the WolfPack a 5-0 win over College of Lake County. Next up is Prairie State College versus Madison College starting at 3:05 p.m.

POSTED 5-9-15 - 11:30 AM - College of Lake County beat Prairie State College, 5-3, in nine-innings, in the first game of the NJCAA Region IV Sectional Tournament. Next up is College of Lake County versus Madison College in game two.

Madison College is the NJCAA Region IV tournament #1 seed for the fourth consecutive year. The WolfPack will be playing in the sectional tournament on Saturday and Sunday, May 9-10.  The WolfPack will face College of Lake County at noon at Robin Roberts Baseball Field in their first game and Prairie State College at 3:00 p.m. 

The winner of the sectional tournament advances to the National Junior College Athletic Association Region IV tournament hosted at Boomers Stadium in Schaumburg, IL on Friday-Sunday, May 15-17.

Game 1 - 9:00 AM - #8 College of Lake County (5) vs. #12 Prairie State College (3) - BOX SCORE
Game 2 - 12:00 PM - #1 Madison College (5) vs. #8 College of Lake County (0) - BOX SCORE
Game 3 - 3:00 PM- #1 Madison College (13) vs. #12 Prairie State College (1) - BOX SCORE

Sunday, May 10
Game 4 - 12:00 PM - Championship Game - Madison College (11) vs. College of Lake County (2) - BOX SCORE
Game 5 - Championship Game #2 (30 minutes following game 4 if needed)

If all teams are 1-1 after Day 1 the HOME team will receive the bye in Game 4.
All games are nine-innings | Double-elimination tournament
Run Rules - Ten runs after five innings | Eight runs after seven innings | Run rule does not apply to the championship game
