2015 NJCAA Region IV Baseball Tournament this weekend

Posted 5/17 - 2:45 PM - Madison College Baseball advanced to their sixth consecutive NJCAA Division II World Series in Enid, Oklahoma with a 9-1 win over Oakton Community College in the NJCAA Region IV championship game. Congrats to the WolfPack Baseball team and Coach-of-the-Year, Mike Davenport.

Madison College will play the Oakton Community College Raiders after they defeated Black Hawk College-Moline 5-4. The NJCAA Region IV Championship Game between the WolfPack and Raiders starts on Saturday at 12:00 p.m.


Posted 5/16 - 3:50 PM - WolfPack Baseball comes back to beat Oakton Community College, 4-3, with three runs in the eighth inning. Madison College will play at noon on Sunday in the NJCAA Region IV Tournament championship for the right to advance to the NJCAA Division II World Series for the sixth consecutive time.

Posted 5/15 - 7:05 PM - Madison College beat Morton College 10-2 on run-rule in the seventh inning to advance to play Oakton Community College on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.

Madison College will be playing Morton College at noon on Friday in the 2015 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region IV Baseball Tournament at Schaumburg Boomers Stadium in Schaumburg, IL. The tournament runs from Friday-Sunday, May 15-17. The Division II tournament winner advances to the NJCAA Division II College World Series in Enid, Oklahoma from May 23-30.

Madison College has won the last five NJCAA Region IV titles and placed third in the nation last year at the 2014 NJCAA Division II World Series. This year's NJCAA Region IV tournament will be held for the second year at a neutral site at Schaumburg Boomers Stadium in Schaumburg, IL. The tournament will feature both Division II and Division III teams competing to earn the right to advance to their respective national championships.
