The 30-17 WolfPack softball team travels to Malta, IL on Tuesday, April 28 to kick off their post-season against the Kishwaukee College Kougars. The now NJCAA DII WolfPack start the best of three series against the Kougars at 1:00 p.m.
 
The two teams faced each other twice in a mid-April doubleheader in Madison. Madison College lost the first game 0-8 before winning game two 8-7. The 'Pack used five runs in the first and broke the 7-7 tie in walk-off fashion in the bottom of the seventh for the one run win. The best of three post-season series will give the two teams bragging rights in the season series, as well as propelling them further into the post-season.

The winner will advance to the NJCAA Region IV Tournament in Freeport, IL on May 1 and May 2. All games of the NJCAA Region IV Tournament will be held on the Read Park Northwest Diamonds in Freeport. If Madison advances they will be going up against the folllowing seven schools that comprise District A. Black Hawk College-Moline, Carl Sandburg College, Elgin Community College, Highland Community College, Illinois Valley Community College, Sauk Valley Community College, and Waubonsee Community College.
