Ten-point win opens WolfPack men's season

Box Score Despite a rough shooting start to the season, the Madison College men's basketball team opened the 2015-16 campaign with 60-50 road decision over Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton, WI on Wednesday, November 4. The WolfPack have won seven straight games over the Foxes dating back to the 2012-13 season, including back-to-back years with season-opening victories against FVTC.

Three players led the Madison College offense with double-digit scoring, paced by Malik Henderson. The second-year transfer from Neosho County Community College and Milwaukee-native dropped in 15 points and nearly tallied a double-double with eight rebounds. Cortez McCree and Kris Seffrood each contributed 11 points, while McCree also pulled down six boards. The WolfPack were 3-for-19 (15.8%) from beyond the three-point arc and 19-of-39 (48.7%) at the free throw line.

Madison College begins the home portion of their schedule with two games at Redsten Gym as part of the Border Battle Classic November 6-7 in Madison. The WolfPack open against Anoka-Ramsey Community College (MN) on Friday at 8:00 p.m., then play again Saturday at 4:00 p.m. against Gogebic Community College.
