2014 NJCAA Region IV Baseball Tournament - WolfPack Winners

UPDATE - 5-18-14 - 7:30 PM - Madison College has earned a fifth straight trip to the NJCAA Division II World Series, beating Kankakee Community College 11-4 in this afternoon's NJCAA Region IV Regional Tournament championship game.

UPDATE - 5-17-14 - 4:00 PM - Madison College mercied Kankakee Community College 12-4 in seven innings this afternoon. Rex Morrow got the win for the WolfPack. Brandon Gibis finished with a game-high four RBI. With the win, Madison College advances to the Region IV championship game Sunday at 3:30 PM to face Kankakee CC again.

UPDATE - 5-16-14 - 9:00 PM - Madison College won 2-0 today over Prairie State College
as starting righthander, Corey Fischer, threw 7 2/3 shutout innings, surrendering just four hits and striking out ten batters. The WolfPack will play Kankakee Community College at 12:30 PM tomorrow.

Madison College will be playing Prairie State College at noon on Friday in the 2014 NJCAA Region IV Baseball Tournament at Schaumburg Boomers Stadium in Schaumburg, IL. The tournament runs from Friday-Sunday, May 16-18. The Division II tournament winner advances to the NJCAA Division II College World Series in Enid, Oklahoma from May 24-31.

This year's NJCAA Region IV Division II tournament features the same four teams with the same tournament seeds as last year's tournament hosted at Madison College. Madison College has won the last four Region IV titles and placed third in the nation last year at the NJCAA Division II World Series. This year's NJCAA Region IV tournament was moved to a neutral site at Schaumburg Boomers Stadium in Schaumburg, IL. The tournament will feature both Division II and Division III teams competing to earn the right to advance to their respective national championships.
