Box Score 2 Coming off a split with the Golden Eagles just a day earlier, the Madison College softball team struggled at Rock Valley College Friday. The WolfPack was swept in a doubleheader, losing 9-0 and 4-0.
Game one, it took the Golden Eagles just five innings to beat Madison College. Rock Valley scored three runs in the first and six in the third, finishing the game with nine runs on nine hits.
Paige Giese (5-5) took the loss for Madison College. Giese threw two and one-third innings, allowing nine hits and six earned runs.
Game two, the WolfPack would fare a little bit better.
Paige Weber (4-8) gave up eight hits in four and one-third innings, allowing just one earned run.
However, Madison College could not capitalize on their five hits, failing to score for a second straight game.
