Box Score It didn't come easy, but a victory over the University of Wisconsin club team did eventually come for the Madison College baseball team Wednesday. Tied at eight in the ninth, 
Sam Hurt came through in a big way for the WolfPack, notching a single to center to score the game-winning run in the form of 
Joe Stubbe.
The entire game was a fight for Madison College. The team surrendered eight runs to the UW club team in the opening four innings. Luckily, after that the WolfPack would turn things up a notch.
Come the bottom of the fifth inning, the WolfPack would find themselves back 5-3, before coming through with a much needed four-run inning. First, 
Danny Krause's bases-clearing double to left field resulted in three RBI. Then, Krause would come home following an error by the Badgers.
Madison College would even things at eight in the eighth.

Dylan Detert, setting the stage for Hurt's heroics in the ninth.
Dominick Golubiewski grabbed the victory on the mound for Madison College. Golubiewski pitched five and two-thirds innings in relief of 
Ryne Blanton, giving up just three hits and one unearned run.
Thursday, the WolfPack (17-7, 4-1) will travel to Oakton Community College for a 3:00 doubleheader.
