Box Score Playing in their spring trip finale, the Madison College softball team failed to muster up enough offense to beat Monroe Community College (N.Y.). The WolfPack registered just two hits, before falling 5-0 to the Tribunes.

On the mound, Bridget Jost allowed just one hit and one unearned run in three innings, but took the loss for the team. Paige Giese threw the game's final four innings, allowing five hits and one earned run.

Andrea Lawrence recorded the only two hits for the WolfPack in the loss. Lawrence singled in the first and sixth innings.

Monroe scored one run in the third and fifth inning, while pushing the game's final three runs across the plate in the sixth.

Madison College (5-10) will open their conference season this coming week, when they host Harper College Tuesday in a doubleheader. First pitch for the WolfPack's home opener is scheduled for 3 p.m.
