Women's soccer team sees winning streak snapped

Box Score A three-game winning streak has come to an end for the Madison College women's soccer team. Wednesday, hosting Rock Valley College, the WolfPack lost 4-0 to the Golden Eagles.

Maura Korchak spurred Rock Valley College on to victory. Korchak finished the game with a hat-trick, scoring two goals in the second half, after tallying the first goal of the game in the fourth minute. Kelsea Berg scored the only other goal for the Golden Eagles, finishing with two assists as well.

Despite the loss, Madison College goalie Stephanie Myszkowski made 13 saves against Rock Valley.

The WolfPack (3-5-1, 2-4) will look to get back to their winning ways Friday when they host Triton College at 4 p.m. Earlier this season, the Trojans beat Madison College 5-3 in River Grove, Illinois.
