The Madison College women's volleyball team is now 5-0 overall, 1-0 in the North Central Community College Conference (N4C), after picking up a win on the road against the College of DuPage Tuesday night. For the third time in five matches, it was a clean sweep for the WolfPack.
The first set against the Chaparrals was over almost as soon as it began, with the 'Pack toppling the College of DuPage 25-8. However, Madison College would get tested in the next two, with the Chaparrals putting up 19 points each time.
Terissa Bierd would lead the WolfPack offensively with nine kills, while
Courtney Frank finished with seven service aces. Defensively,
Vanessa Clarson came up with 21 digs. Setter
Alexis Semrow registered 21 assists.
Thursday evening at 6 p.m. Madison College will host defending NJCAA Division III National Champion Rock Valley College. So far this season, the Golden Eagles are 4-2 overall. Madison College beat Rock Valley College in both of their regular season meetings last year.
