Madison College Baseball Cruises Past the UW Club Team

Box Score After another batch of rain rolled in Monday afternoon forcing a cancellation, the Madison College baseball team was finally able to get in their nine inning game on Tuesday, April 16. Although the major offensive outburst didn't occur until the sixth inning, Madison scored one run in each of the first five innings and held a comfortable 5-2 lead over the UW Club Team after five frames. The consistent offense from the 'Pack really got going in the sixth when Madison plated three more runs and one more in the seventh before finishing off the game on top 9-4.

Rhude and Detert joined Ryan McShane on the squad with two hits as the 'Pack recorded 14 hits as a team, and walked six more times. Rhude also added a sacrifice fly and scored twice.
