Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The Madison College Softball team fell 9-1 and 3-2 in a doubleheader against Joliet Junior College on Saturday, March 30 in Joliet, IL.

In the first game, the WolfPack managed just three hits and scored one run in the fourth while surrendering 12 hits and nine runs to the host Wolves. Leadoff hitter Michelle Farino had two of the three WolfPack hits as she went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a double.  Teammate Hailey Hovland had the only other Madison College hit as she went 1-for-2 on the game.

Samantha Schuchardt pitched five and two-thirds innings surrendering seven earned runs on twelve hits.  Schuchardt struck out two, walked three and gave up one home run in the 9-1 loss.

In the second game, the WolfPack outhit Joliet 6-5 but fell 3-2 in seven innings.

Andrea Lawrence and Jordan Bell each went 2-for-4 while Marissa Shaner was 1-for-1 with an RBI and three walks.  Shaner also pitched six innings for the WolfPack striking out seven, walking four and giving up two earned runs on five hits.  Shaner recieved the loss to move to 2-2 on the season.

The WolfPack will face conference opponent, Harper College, in a doubleheader, in Palatine, IL on Monday.
