Box Score The #7 nationally ranked Madison College Baseball team fell behind early and struggled to get it going offensively against NJCAA Division II Pasco Hernando Community Colllege in Port Richey, FL. The WolfPack fell 10-2 in their first game of their central Florida spring trip.
Pasco Hernando scored first, recording five runs on four hits and one WolfPack error in the fifth inning. Madison College responded with one run in each of the next two innings to pull the game to within three runs. Over the final four innings, Pasco put the game out of reach with one run in the seventh and four runs in the eighth while holding the WolfPack scoreless.
Bryce Barsness was the only WolfPack batter with more than one hit as he went 2-for-4 on the day.
Luke Syens had the team's only RBI, going 1-for-2.
Second year starter
Mac Wichmann pitched four innings, giving up five hits and two earned runs, while striking out two batters. Wichmann received the loss.

Calen Rohrman and
Hayden Hughey all saw action on the mound for the WolfPack.
The WolfPack fell to 1-2 with the loss but will look to bounce back against Elgin Community College on Saturday at the Chain of Lakes Baseball Complex in Winter Haven, FL.
