WolfPack men's hoops hoping for first road win

They've won both of their home games so far this season, but the Madison College men's basketball team is still in search of their first road victory. Wednesday, playing at Western Technical College at 8 p.m., they hope to pick up their first "w" playing as the visitor in four tries.

The Cavaliers should offer up a tough test for the WolfPack. So far this season, Western Technical College is 6-3 overall, holding a 3-1 mark in their home gym.

For Madison College, a fast start could be the key to a victory. The WolfPack are averaging just 64 points playing on the road, with the Cavaliers scoring 85 a contest as the home team.

Cody Krueger and Aldaveon Green offer a potent one-two punch for Western Tech, combining to average 45 points per game. Madison College will look to counter with their own dynamic duo of Brandon Holz and Nathan Scheeter. Holz leads the team in scoring, averaging 15 a game, while Scheeter isn't far off at 13 an outing.

The WolfPack, 2-5 overall, will return home Friday, Dec. 13 to face College of Lake County. Tipoff time is set for 8 p.m.
