WolfPack men break skid, defeat Elgin

Box Score The Madison College men's basketball team got off their two-game skid and defeated Elgin Community College on Tuesday night. It was their second home game of the season.

In the first half, the WolfPack earned a five-point lead over Elgin. The score at halftime was 38-33. While the game was by no means over, Madison College held Elgin back for the rest of the game to end the night with a final score of 75-68.

Brandon Holz was the top-scoring player with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Corey McGowan and Nathan Scheeter followed with 13 and 12 points, respectively.

The victory puts the team's overall record at 2-5. They have yet to play a conference game. On Wednesday, Dec. 11, they will travel to La Crosse, Wis. to face Western Technical College at 8 P.M.
