Holz, WolfPack held in check at Western Tech.

Box Score The Madison College men's basketball team is still in search of their first victory away from H. Douglas Redsten Gymnasium this season. Wednesday, the WolfPack failed to grab a win at Western Technical College, losing 80-89.

Madison College had a hard time trying to contain Cody Krueger. The Cavaliers leading scorer went off for 28 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Alex Collins added 15 for Western Tech.

WolfPack leading scorer Brandon Holz was held in check by the Cavaliers defense, failing to score in double figures. Instead, it was Nathan Scheeter who would lead Madison College, finishing with a team-high 16 points. Jeffery Cole and Shane Kanaman added 12 and 10 points, respectively.

The WolfPack, 2-6 overall, will return to their home gym Friday, set to host College of Lake County at 8 p.m. Madison College is 2-0 at home so far this season, defeating Fox Valley Technical College and Elgin Community College.
