Box Score Knowing a win would put them in the driver seat for tomorrow's NJCAA Region IV Division II Baseball Championship, the Madison College WolfPack played one of their finest games of the postseason against Black Hawk College. The WolfPack won 10-0, and will need one win against Oakton Community College tomorrow to make it back to the NJCAA Division II World Series in Enid, OK.

The WolfPack offense would be firing on all cylinders from the start. In the first inning, Madison College got four runs on four hits. Bryce Barsness, Jake Page, and Nathan Pollock would provide the RBI in the opening frame. The 'Pack would follow that up with three runs on three hits in the second, getting RBI from Luke Maldonado and Page. Despite the 7-0 lead, the WolfPack would keep on playing with a purpose. Barsness would single to right to score Treysen Vavra in the fourth, and then Jake Page would shut the door on Braves. Needing two runs to seal the mercy in the sixth, Page doubled down the right field line to bring in Landon Tenhagen and Vavra.

Tyler Thicke (5-0) picked up the win for the WolfPack. Thicke threw six strong innings, giving up six hits, no earned runs, struck out four, and walked one. Jake Page was the offensive star for Madison College. Page (2-for-4) finished with five RBI. Bryce Barsness (2-for-4) added two RBI, and Treysen Vavra (4-for-4) scored four times for the WolfPack.

Madison College (42-11, 11-1) will take on Oakton Community College in tomorrow's tournament final. First pitch is scheduled for 12:00 PM, despite earlier reports that the game may have to begin at 10:00 AM due to an unfavorable weather forecast. The Raiders would need to beat Madison College twice tomorrow to end the WolfPack's season.
