Box Score 2 The Madison College baseball team rebounded from their tenth loss of the season with two non-conference road wins over the McHenry County College Scots 5-4 and 4-1 on Friday, April 27. With the two wins in Crystal Lake, IL the WolfPack improved to 29-10 and have won eight of their last 10 games.
Starter
Cody Peterson scattered eight hits over seven innings while striking out seven in the 5-4 road victory to open the doubleheader. Out of the four runs he surrendered, only two were earned. Peterson and the WolfPack fell behind 3-0 after the first inning, but clawed their way to the win by outscoring the Scots five runs to one during the final four innings. The comeback win pushed Peterson's record to 3-2, with all three of his wins coming on the road.

Shane Adler, and
Jake Page all recorded two of Madison College's 12 hits as the high-powered WolfPack offense out hit the home team by four. Adler and Page both drove in two runs and Vavra scored twice.
Madison College cruised to the game two win by scoring four runs in the first inning, and starter
Danny Sullivan tossed a gem to secure the 4-1 win. In his first complete game of the season, Sullivan struckout seven and allowed only one unearned run to improve to 6-0 on the year, while lowering his ERA to 2.39 in 37.2 innings of work. Both teams were evenly matched in the hit column at six apiece, but Madison College was able to string them together as

Landon Tenhagen, and
Shane Adler all crossed the plate in the first inning. Adler finished the day as the team's leading hitter by going 2-for-3 with a RBI and a run scored, and
Jake Page drove in two of the first inning runs.
The 29-10 WolfPack host the Kankakee Community College Cavaliers on April 29 in a doubleheader at Robin Roberts Field. The first game starts at 12:00 PM.
