Box Score 2 The Madison College baseball team swept a doubleheader with the Milwaukee Area Technical College Stormers 13-4, 3-2 at Robin Roberts Field in Madison, WI on April 21. The WolfPack used an eight run first inning to blow away the Stormers in the first game before taking the second game 3-2 in walk-off style to end the pitcher's duel on the victorious side.
Starting pitcher
Paul Poirier picked up the win in game one and the WolfPack offense used 12 hits, nine walks, and two Stormer errors to their advantage in the 13-4 win.
Bryce Barsness led the team with three hits in four at bats, scored three times, and drove in three more runs.

Jake Page, and
Jon Dybevik all drove in two runs, and
Treysen Vavra and McShane scored three and two runs respectively.
Game two was all tied up 2-2 heading into the bottom of the seventh inning, before
Josh Rowles got the game winning rally started the hard way by reaching first base after getting hit by a pitch.
Nathan Pollock then followed with a single to centerfield to advance Rowles to second.
Beau Goff followed with a walk to load the bases before McShane singled to left center to drive in the game winning run.
Starter
Mac Wichmann lasted six innings before exiting the game with the scored tied. In six innings, Wichmann scattered three hits and allowed one earned run before giving way to eventual winning pitcher
Jameson Sadowske. Wichmann struck out three of the 23 batters he faced before Sadowske struck out one in his inning of relief on his way to picking up his first win of the year.
Armed with three straight wins, the 24-9 (7-1 N4C) Madison College WolfPack, play for the fourth day in a row on April 22 as they host conference opponent Rock Valley College in an N4C doubleheader. The first game of the doubleheader against the Golden Eagles starts at 12:00 PM.
