Box Score Madison College baseball notched their second NJCAA Division I win over Arizona Western College in their fifth game of the Jack Howell Classic on Friday. The WolfPack won 8-5 to improve to 8-2 overall.
The WolfPack scored multiple runs in three straight innings including four runs in the fourth inning to break open a 4-4 tie. Madison College generated eight runs on 10 hits and held Arizona Western to five runs on seven hits.
First year outfielder, Nathan Pollack went 3-for-3 with two RBIs to lead the WolfPack.
Ryan McShane and
Luke Maldonado each had a pair of hits and one RBI in the win.
Tyler Thicke received his second win of the season as he pitched five and two-thirds innings, striking out five, walking four and giving up five earned runs on six hits.
Cole Kroncke earned the save in relief pitching one and one third inning, striking out two of the six batters he faced.
The WolfPack improve to 8-2 overall and face Douglas College in their last game of the Jack Howell Classic and their spring trip to Arizona.
