Box Score Madison College Softball beat Anoka Ramsey Community College for the third time on their spring trip with a 13-5 rout which included 14 WolfPack hits.
With the game tied 4-4 in the fourth inning the WolfPack erupted for eight runs on seven hits and two Ram errors. Madison College added another run in the fifth to win 13-5 in the fifth inning, evoking the eight run rule after five innings.
Brittany Kaltenberg went 3-for-4, scoring three runs and stealing a season high five bases. Four other WolfPack batters including
Amber Clifcorn,
Courtney Ullmer,
Lindsey Reno and
Shelby Wollin each had two hits. Clifcorn, Edgren and Wollin each had two RBIs while teammate Haley Hovland posted three RBIs and a triple.
Marissa Shaner earned the win pitching five innings, striking out seven batters and giving up four earned runs on eight hits. The WolfPack improved to 3-6 and will play two games tomorrow at the Tucson Invitational in Tucson, AZ.
