After getting beat by Triton by 28 points earlier in the season, the WolfPack Men played tough againt the #3 nationally ranked, NJCAA Division II opponent, Triton College.
Garrett Borgrud had 31 points and
Tyler Kowalkowski added 27 points including 18 points over the final 10 minutes.
The WolfPack led for almost seven minutes of the first half as they shot 50 percent from beyond the arc and 40 percent from the field. Madison College trailed by just nine points heading into halftime as second year center,

In the second half, after trailing by as many as 13 points the WolfPack hung around and closed the game to single digits as Kowalkowski scored 18 of his 27 points over the final ten minutes. Kowalkowski finished with his fourth double-double of the season scoring 27 points on 7-for-13 shooting from three and dished out 10 assists.
Garrett Borgrud, who was the receipient of several Kowalkowski assists, had a game high 31 points on 12-for-21 shooting from the field. The WolfPack outscored the visiting Trojans 52-47 in the second half but could not overcome the talented Trojans falling by just four points, 87-83.
Alex Cook added 15 points with three three-pointers playing all 40 minutes like teammates
Tyler Kowalkowski and
Ryan Plaice. The WolfPack loss put their overall record at 9-19 to finish the regular season. Madison College finished 6-8 in conference play and will play Loraine Valley Community College on Wednesday, February 29th in the NJCAA Region IV Quarterfinals at Madison College at 7:00 PM.
