The Madison College men's basketball team has to be feeling good about their overtime victory Wednesday night at College of DuPage. Now, they'll look to use that momentum to pick up a second straight conference victory Saturday afternoon when they host Harper College at 3:00 PM.
Since joining the North Central Community College Conference (N4C) during the 2009-10 season, the WolfPack (4-14, 2-3) has yet to soar past the Hawks (6-15, 0-5) at home. Each of the last two seasons Harper has beaten the 'Pack at H. Douglas Redsten Gymnasium. In 2009-10 the Hawks picked up a 66-59 win, while in '10-'11 they made a bigger statement with an 85-64 victory. Still, Madison College is 4-2 against Harper the past two seasons, including two wins in the Region IV Tournament. The Hawks have currently lost five straight games, all in conference play, while averaging 62 points per game. Meanwhile, Madison College is 2-3 in their last five, averaging just over 63 points per outing.
Come cheer on the Madison College men's basketball team as they look to move to 3-3 (.500) in conference play. The 'Pack is currently tied with Joliet Junior College for fifth place in the N4C standings. Triton College is the conference leader.
