Another match and another win for the fourth ranked Madison College WolfPack volleyball team. Hosting College of DuPage Thursday night, the 'Pack picked up their second straight 3-0 victory. Final game scores were 25-10, 25-13, and 25-13 in the lopsided conference match-up.
Leading the WolfPack offense was freshman
Hillary Hausman. Hausman, a 5-foot-9 middle blocker, came up with eight kills on the evening, to go with three digs and a service ace.
Hannah Schwartzer and
Kate Jonas both were right behind Hausman with six kills a piece. Meanwhile, sophomore libero
Calli Dahl came up big as well by tallying 20 digs.
Kirsten Halma had 22 assists and a service ace. Jonas led the team with three solo blocks and a block assist.
Next up, Madison College (14-3, 3-1) will travel to Rock Valley College in Rockford, IL on Tuesday, September 20th for a tough test against the sixth ranked Golden Eagles. The two teams met in the Rochester Invitational earlier this season, with the WolfPack winning 2-0 (25-18, 25-21). Tuesday's action will get underway at 6:00 PM.
