The Madison College volleyball team is off to a fantastic start. Playing in the College of DuPage Invitational, the team's season-opening tournament, the WolfPack finished as the runner-up. 

During pool play the 'Pack went 3-1, beating Oakton College, Highland College, and the College of DuPage. Their only loss came to Vincennes University (IN), falling 22-25, 20-25. That success pushed the WolfPack into the tournament's semi-finals, where they squared off with Harper College. There, the Hawks proved to be no match for Madison College. Despite dropping the first set 23-25, the 'Pack was too hungry, rallying for the two sets to one victory (23-25, 25-19, 15-8). Hannah Schwartzer led the team with 18 kills in the semis.

In the finals, Madison would get a rematch with Vincennes University. Once again the Trailblazers were too much though, dispatching the WolfPack 25-15, 25-21. Next up, Madison will play host to Clarke University (JV) Wednesday, August 31st in their home opener. The match is set to get underway at 6:00 PM.
