The WolfPack softball team couldn't handle the Lady Wolves from Joliet Junior College this time around either as Joliet cruised to a 10-1 victory in the opener of the doubleheader before Madison College played them tighter. The WolfPack were defeated 6-2 in the afternoon's second game played at the Softball Complex at Madison College. Joliet took the four game series by dominating all games and Madison dropped to 1-19 on the year and 0-10 in N4C play.

Kassandra Kluge got the starting nod in the doubleheader opener and was saddled with the loss, and Tena Funmaker started the second game and was tagged with the loss.

Amanda Helgesen led the WolfPack at the plate in game one by going 1-for-2 and added an RBI when her single plated Kate Jonas in the second inning. Jonas tripled with two outs, and the aforementioned duo registered two of the WolfPacks' three hits.

In game two, Heather Hornback paced the WolfPack as she went 1-for-2 with and RBI, while Gabrielle Komprood finished right behind her and went 1-for-3 at the plate with an RBI.

The softball team is back at it this Friday as they host the Harper College Eagles for their fifth and sixth consecutive games. The conference doubleheader on April 15 starts at 3:00 PM.
