WolfPack Softball Falls Hard to Kishwaukee in Two

The Madison College lost two more games against Kishwaukee Community College in Malta, IL on Sunday afternoon. The WolfPack fell hard in game one 15-1 before dropping game two in almost identical fashion, 16-1.

Kishwaukee jumped on top early scoring 12 runs in the first three innings off of starter Kassandra Kluge before the 'Pack registered a run of their own in the top of the fourth inning. Leftfielder Lindsay Arndt singled and drove in Kate Jonas who started off the inning with a walk. The Kishwaukee pitcher then tightened up and silenced the WolfPack bats before walking away with the 15-1 non-conference win.

Madison College struck first with a run in the first inning in game two, but Kishwaukee prevailed by scoring 16 unanswered runs off of the WolfPack starter Jessica Spern to walk away with the win in the 16-1 lopsided affair. Amber Clifcorn finished 2-for-3 and Kluge scored the lone Madison College run after reaching on an error.

The Madison College softball fell to 1-22 on the year and are back at it when they host Rock Valley College for a conference doubleheader on April 22 in Madison, WI. The first game is scheduled to start at 3:00 PM.
