WolfPack Earns Season Sweep of Chaparrals

Twice earlier this season the Madison College volleyball team met up with the College of DuPage, both times sweeping them in straight games. Thursday, playing on the Chaparrals home floor, it was no different. The WolfPack once again made short work of the College of Dupage, earning the season sweep of the Chaparrals with a 3-0 victory.

Offensively, the 'Pack spread the ball around nicely, as Hannah Schwartzer led the way with just six kills. Kate Jonas tallied five kills, while Calli Dahl and Kaitlyn Nyman each picked up four. Kirsten Halma led the team in assists with 20 on the evening. The team finished the match with a .254 attack percentage.

Defensively, Calli Dahl came up big once again. Dahl, a sophomore from Deerfield, WI, registered 15 digs in the match. Nyman and Schwartzer each finished with nine.

Madison College (20-8, 6-4) has just four matches remaining in the regular season, all of which are pretty big. The WolfPack will host tenth ranked Rock Valley College on Tuesday, October 18th at 6:00 PM. The 'Pack is calling on their fans to fill the seats in an event known as "Dig the Pack". Then, the team visits ninth ranked Harper College on October 20th, followed by matches against third ranked Rochester Community & Technical College, and the always powerful Whitewater Warhawks.
