Van Cleave's Triple-Double Powers WolfPack

Former Reedsburg standout, Jordan Van Cleave, did everything on Tuesday night to help power his Madison College Men's Basketball team to conference road victory.  His efforts included 10 points, 11 rebounds and ten assists to record the team's first triple-double in several years.

In addition to Van Cleave's outstanding performance, teammate Garrett Borgrud posted his first collegiate double-double by scoring 12 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.  Three other WolfPack players reached double-figures as well including Corey Yahnke who scored 20 points, on 7-for-10 shooting from the field, Derek Nillissen with 19 points, on 5-for-6 shooting from three, and Aaron Jones with 10 points.

The WolfPack jumped out of the gates fast connecting on 19 out of 28 shots in the first half and 4 out of 6 shots from three.  The WolfPack led by 18 points at half and pushed it to as many as 23 points in the second half.  Despite 27 WolfPack turnovers the team shot well and had 29 assists.

The win moves the WolfPack Men within one game of .500 at 8-9 and pushes their conference mark to 3-2.  The Madison College Men are in action on Thursday against Western Technical College at home at 7:30 PM.
