The WolfPack lost both games of a doubleheader for the first time this season.

Coming off a 12-run victory over the #7 team in the country, the WolfPack (37-10) stumbled twice against an unranked South Suburban College team 6-5 and 6-2. It was the first time this season that Madison College lost both games of a doubleheader.
The first game lasted 11 innings where South Suburban scored a run to break a 5-5 tie. The game was tied at three apiece in the ninth inning, but both teams scored two runs in the inning to keep it going until the WolfPack were shut down in the bottom of the eleventh inning.
Josh Jaro started the game for the WolfPack and gave them six strong innings. He gave up two earned runs and struck out four batters.
In the second game the WolfPack were limited to three hits and it was just the sixth time this season that they were held under five runs. They fell into a 6-0 hole after four innings that they weren't able to climb out from.
South Suburban gave the WolfPack an opportunity to get back into the game in the bottom of the seventh inning by committing two errors early in the inning. But after scoring one run to cut the lead to 6-2, the next three WolfPack batters were all called out and they got swept for the first time this season.
The WolfPack look to get back on track when they host College of Lake County for a nine-inning game at Robin Roberts Field on May 4 at 6:00 p.m.
