The Madison College softball team struggled against a tough North Iowa Area Community College team at home on April 26. The WolfPack lost both games, 14-0 and 8-0.
In the first game,
Thresia Elskamp led the offense going 1-for-2 from the plate with a triple.
Keriann Schmidt started on the mound and lasted 3.1 innings. Despite striking out six batters, she allowed eight hits and nine runs.
In the second game the WolfPack weren't able to overcome seven errors. They limited the Trojans to just seven hits in the game and just three earned runs, but the Trojans added five unearned runs to the box score to total eight runs in the game.
Jenna Brown was 2-for-2 from the plate and
Mary Hershberger pitched five innings and struck out two batters in the game.
