The WolfPack hosted the No. 9 team in the nation, Rock Valley College, on April 17. Madison College was shutout 13-0 in the first game. They played the Golden Eagles tough for the first three innings in the second game, but lost 9-1 in six innings of play.
Rock Valley came out swinging in the first game of the doubleheader. They scored 13 runs off of 17 hits against the WolfPack pitching staff.
Jami Ryan started the game for the WolfPack and
Keriann Schmidt came in to finish off the final two innings.
Mary Hershberger pitched all six innings in the second game against Rock Valley.
The WolfPack struggled at the plate in both games. They had two hits in the first game and just one in the second game.
Jenna Brown hit a homerun in the second game, accounting for the lone run for the WolfPack in the two games.
