The Madison College softball team is looking forward to facing four-straight opponents at home this week after losing a pair of games to College of DuPage on April 12.

The WolfPack lost the first game 8-1 and the second game 9-0 in Glen Ellyn, IL. Keriann Schmidt took the mound for the WolfPack in the first game and through four innings, held the Chaparrals to just one run. In the top of the next inning, Madison College tied the game up. The Chaparral bats got going in the bottom of the inning and they scored six runs to build a 7-1 lead heading into the game's final inning.

Morgan Lass got a triple and was 2-for-3 in the game. Thresia Elskamp continued her solid play at the plate and also went 2-for-3 in the game.

In the second game, College of DuPage took an early 4-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning and never looked back in the 9-0 victory over the WolfPack.

Madison College looks to get back on track at home against Joliet Junior College on April 13 at 3:30 p.m. Later this week the WolfPack host Harper College, Rock Valley College and Kishwaukee College.
